Das kleine, dünne, jedoch reich bebilderte Büchlein (nahezu auf jeder Seite findet sich mindestens ein Bild!) bietet einen farbenprächtigen Einblick in die damalige Mode und bezieht auch Jane Austen selbst mit ein (z.B. in Form von Zitaten).
